The Vcare VS-30 Series is a family of Crash Rated Bollards designed for Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) and high-security perimeter protection applications. Our products have been impact tested in accordance with PAS 68, ISO IWA 14-1 and ISO 22343 standards, providing protection equivalent to K4 and M30 vehicle impact ratings.

VS-30-(F), Fixed Bollard
The VS-30-(F)-450 Fixed Bollard is a cost-effective Crash Rated Bollard designed for hostile vehicle mitigation and permanent vehicle access control applications. It is available with galvanised finish, RAL colour coating or stainless steel sleeve options to suit different architectural requirements.
The VS-30-(F)-SM Shallow Mount Fixed Bollard requires a foundation depth of only 200 mm, making it ideal for locations where underground services restrict excavation depth.
The VS-30-(F)-400S Single Fixed Bollard is a Crash Rated Shallow Mount Bollard tested in accordance with ISO 22343-1 and IWA 14-1 standards, providing protection equivalent to K4 and M30 vehicle impact ratings while requiring minimal foundation depth.
VS-30-(A), Auto Bollard
The VS-30-(A) Automatic Retractable Bollard is a hydraulically operated Crash Rated Bollard designed for hostile vehicle mitigation and secure vehicle access control applications. It provides high levels of perimeter protection whilst allowing authorised vehicle and pedestrian access when required.
Operated by a customised Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) and control system, the VS-30-(A) is designed to provide protection equivalent to K4 and M30 vehicle impact ratings in accordance with PAS 68 and IWA 14-1 standards, making it suitable for government facilities, airports, transportation hubs, commercial developments and other high-security sites.
VS-30-(R), Removable Bollard
The VS-30-(R) Series includes both the VS-30-(R)-450 Removable Bollard and the VS-30-(R)-SM Shallow Mount Removable Bollard, providing flexible vehicle access control without compromising security performance.
Designed for hostile vehicle mitigation and high-security perimeter protection, these Crash Rated Removable Bollards can be removed when authorised access is required and reinstated when protection is needed. The VS-30-(R)-450 is tested in accordance with PAS 68 standards, while the VS-30-(R)-SM features a shallow foundation depth of only 200 mm and is tested in accordance with ISO 22343-1 and IWA 14-1 standards, providing protection equivalent to K4 and M30 vehicle impact ratings.

VS-30-(F)-450 - Product Overview
The Crash Rated, Fixed VS-30-(F)-450 bollard is tall and slim; offering a galvanised finish as standard. Alternatively, the bollard can be coated with any RAL colour specified or fitted with an aesthetic sleeve. This product provides a cost effective solution for perimeter security requirements and meets the security rating for most perimeter security projects.
The Vcare Security VS-30-(F)-450 is a fixed bollard successfully impact tested to 48 km/h with a 7,500 kg vehicle. This product must be installed within an approved, reinforced concrete foundation. For sites requiring perimeter protection with limited excavation depth please consider our VS-30-(F)-SM, Shallow Mount Bollards.

The Vcare VS-30-(F)-SM, Shallow Mount Fixed Bollards is part of the ultimate security bollard family. This product is designed to protect at the PAS68 level, and is able to stop a fully laden 7.5 tons vehicle travelling at 30mph. This shallow mount fixed bollard only requires a civil installation depth of 200mm.
Traditional Crash Rated Bollards require sizeable and deep foundations. While these are appropriate for many situations, there are often underground services and structures which prevent the use of these deep products.
